How I Bleach My Hair Extensions
Hey everyone,
Thought to share how I bleach my hair and the products I use.
I was once among the clueless, and ever since I figured it out? hmmm! Let's just say If my hair extensions could speak, they'd be screaming at me from all the processing they go through!
Then Shampoo and condition. I totally love the HAIRVEN products.
Believe it or not, it's a Nigerian product. Reminds me a lot about Tresemme.

I was once among the clueless, and ever since I figured it out? hmmm! Let's just say If my hair extensions could speak, they'd be screaming at me from all the processing they go through!
Here's all I used for the "Procedure" lol!
1. Silicon Mix
2. BW2 powder lightener
3. Clairol Soy4Plex 30 volume developer
4. Hairven Shampoo
5. Hairven Conditioner
6. One 'n Only Argan oil
So, first of all, make sure you're using high quality hair. This is important!
Not many hair would go through the bleaching procedure and come back to life. Take note.
Last fix I did with this hair. |
I already went from Jet black to brown. |
So here's the hair prior bleaching. Yeah I had green highlights one time LOL! (That's what you see at the ends) |
Step1: Mix bleach and developer till you get a good creamy consistency. |
Step 2: Lay your hair flat. (You want to do this outside like me, or in a very airy room) |
Step 3: brush on the mix on the hair and comb as you go. You do this to make sure it gets in. (I'm not the messy one, It's a somewhat messy procedure. I guess lol!) |
The weather was really dry, reason I placed each bundle in the bag. Just so the mix on the extensions don't dry up before I went through all. |
Then Shampoo and condition. I totally love the HAIRVEN products.

I love me my Silicon mix! Amazing product for treating damaged hair. I just use this most times I bleach hair. |
Shoprite bags "saving lives since forever LOL!" This is one way I condition hair. Rub in the silicon mix on damp towel dried hair and keep it in a bag for errr.... 15-20mins. |
After rinsing the Silicon mix off, I add Argan oil to restore the shine. This One 'n Only Argan oil is just AMAZING! little goes a LONG way! |
Bad lighting, finished result anyway. The bleaching brought out the green I had on sometime ago. |
Installed my hair at Patrick's Beauty Zone. I always do bone straight at Salons, that's one thing I can't really achieve on my own (Not patient enough to do it like them). My curls though! I achieve in a few mins. Master! hehe! I use my Tresemme curling wand. Did a a post on that a while back. See it HERE |
Plenty kisses, Mwaahh! Bemi. |
