Product Review 2: TARA lip pencil (Kwase-doo)

Hello everyone.....
Chilled on "ladies" cause i see some brothers are coming on here too :D hehe..!
Yeah, so todays review is about my new favourite lip thing! I choose to call it lip thing cause the pencil can do many things!
First of all, it's a great lip liner!
I guess we all know how to work lip liners.
The amazing thing about this pencil is how it can be used as a lipstick! Yes, lipstick!
It's actually creamy and doesn't necessarily need lipgloss on it.

It's a new product from TARA and i think it's even a limited edition.

This is what it looks like with a slightly shimmery pink gloss
And..... This is what it's like without lipgloss

Looks even better without gloss!

I know i'm about to stock my box up with this! Too beautiful and really affordable!
 It's either 700 or 800 box
It's available in most TARA outlets

Product Review: 1 (Fm Automatic Eye Pencil)

Federico Mahora Automatic Eye Pencil

As a proud product(make up) junkie, just felt the need to show y'all some products in my box and how i use them. On this post i'll start with the Federico Mahora Automatic Eye Pencil in frozen grey. This pencil is all kinds of yummy!

With and without flash
I love this twist up pencil cause its highly pigmented, just one swipe and it's just there "gbam"! (LOL!) It has this icy look and i've used it for two different looks so far.

I used it for a bridal look
but i used a black pencil liner to seal it in the hair line on the lower lid. Kinda brightens the eyes as well.

I also used it for a photography look
I used just the frozen grey pencil on the lower lid. I didn't press it too hard anyway, the eye shadow was already really really flashy.

It's also available in strong graphite, malachite green, dark blue, decadence black, icy amethyst, and deep maroon

Loved the frozen grey, can't wait to try the other colours!

Price: N950

This product can't be found in just regular stores,
Call 08184546089 or send an email if interested.
Enjoy!

Make up: Wake up ladies

Hello Ladies,

I'm totally aware of how crazy we can get when it comes to make-up! I mean, don't test the Nigerian woman lol! There are millions of products out there, some really expensive and soooooooooooo not worth their price tags. Oh well....!

Our obsession is so bad that we get overly ripped off and that thing can "chook" -_-! I mean!!! You're seeing something online for so so so, ehn i know they didn't trek to obodo oyibo to get these stuff, neither did they teleport the products but damn!!!!
Anyways, just so y'all wake up and realise that "what you're looking for in Sokoto and can be right under your Shokoto" (LOOOOL! Always wanted to use that quote :D)

So yeah, maybe certain people don't know there are some really cool brands in naija, proudly naija or proudly african. I mean make up perfect for women of colour.

Have you tried products from these brands?
BM Pro
Tara Orekelewa
Lise beauty range
These are some proudly Nigerian brands and there's
Iman, created by a Somalian model
Black Up, created by an Ivorian make up artist and several others.

And to those sisters who really love their special brands like MAC (yeah, MAC is special :) ), i"m glad they have two stores in naija, both in Lagos (Palms and Ikeja mall), they won't sell fake stuff and blaaa, so let the rip offs STOP!

I'll use this medium to chip in a bit about Federico Mahora, they have two stores in naija as well, one in Lagos, the other at Port Harcourt. Tried some of their products as well and can recommend a few.
So in subsequent posts, i'll put up photos of some of my work, products i used (def not only African brands)their price and where you can get them.

I hope we have fun,
kisses

STYLE CRITIC: MTV Base All Star event

Very event appropriate outfit, thumbs up babes! Most of all, you look comfortable :)

The lady played safe. You can never go wrong with black!

"Suck bele, make the shirt fine" that's what Lynxx said, right? If your body ain't banging, run away from dresses like this! And oh! Spanxxxxx, heard they work magic if you really have to.

Ok, what's all this? ehn? Why? What? -_____________-

Mature! Simple! Classy! Comfortable! Finish!

Totally event appropriate b..bu...but the "footwear" and t...then your brows! (All these fat-fat brows y'all are about these days)-__-

Ooh! The total package!

Is this fair? This gown abii lycra skirt turned tube is obviously not your size! I mean! What's this???! For a lady with your kind of body, stay awake from tight clothes, wear 'A' shaped dresses try to be sexy in some other way...cleavage maybe. *sigh

What's the belt and travel bag doing there? -_-
Caption this: Same dress and same sand..  no, "footwear" and a small clutch with your hair neatly packed. *okbye!

I just love the accessories on the striped shirt. Nice!

OOOOH La LAAA! Baby gurl got it too right! Dang!
Everything!

Ahn ahn! Why now? :( The hair is just wrong and then... not like the purse is bad but it makes the outfit look too matchy, sheybee? lol! I'd like to believe her shoes weren't white..

What's with you people and belts like this?! Ehn?! See nice outfit, "you now went to go and put belt on top!" kilode?! Even if your purse or shoes are/were (choose the correct one abeg) red, haba!

Oh! One of my top 3! Classy!

Big grin! :D

So.... as you see, the photos are from bellanaija, as they covered the event.
This is not to humiliate anyone but just for you to pay more attention to the things you throw on! If y'aint got style, pay someone to style you. It's not even by force to go for these events, if you lack event appropriate clothing, sit your bum at home, no one will die!
